Summary
When Black disappeared and reappeared different, nothing about him changed per-say, because nothing about Sean's pack leader changed physically. He still looked the same, if not for a few subtle differences that Sean could chalk up as a new routine morning or something stupid.
What he couldn't gloss over and the one thing that had him practically climbing up the walls in confusion, was Black may have not changed physically at all, but instead had somehow gained a unique scent. Logically speaking, there couldn't possibly be a change in Black's scentless scent. Betas don’t smell, Sean shouldn’t be able to smell their emotions or pin-point a familiar scent, this however, wasn't the case with Black anymore. It was as if he somehow traded places with an omega that had the same face as his- but that would be crazy!
