Shane’s propped up on some pillows, arm in a sling, bruises blooming on his face, squinting against the daylight, but alive. Alive, and conscious, and - not alone.
Ilya swallows, eyes flickering between Shane, two people he recognises as Shane’s parents, and Hayden fucking Pike.
They all look at him with surprise, and a little hostility. Pike actually starts to rise from his chair, poised to, what, defend Shane? As though Ilya would track down an injured player to a hospital bed to cause more trouble?
He’s ready to just turn around and leave, but Shane’s managed to focus his eyes on the door.
“Ilyaaaa!”

The benefit of Roy being so fair and ginger is that he’s never really been able to suppress the blush that rises when he gets embarrassed.
“No one,” he says anyway, even though he surely must know that there’s no chance of Dick believing him.
Rookie mistake. That means he’s trying to keep it a secret because he’s flustered, and that means that it’s something to do with his love life.
Dick Grayson would not say that he's nosy, really, but he is curious. It's only reasonable that he'd want to know who his best friend, and his brother's teammate, is dating.

Summary
He watches Sam’s finger point to the written words, “Dean still hardly talks,”.
A few beats of silence pass—nothing out of the ordinary, at this point.
“...Is this what’s happening?” Sam asks gently, implementing that tone of voice that always seems to remind Dean with a heart clenched in nostalgia that his brother is not a little boy anymore, but rather is now a grown man with an impressive emotional maturity.
(TLDR: Dean Winchester and selective mutism: told throughout different stages of his life now that it has come back in full-force yet again after losing Cas to the Empty. Angst, hurt/comfort, and most importantly: happy ending.)
