Summary
The old septa died in Bitterbridge, in a dark, shuttered room. She had been ailing when they reached the town, plagued by a sharp, nagging cough Dunk did not like the sound of, likely brought on by several days of rainy travel. They had been headed northeast, towards King’s Landing, for the landed knight they had served for the past three years had little need of septas after his daughters came of age to wed.
Well, Dunk had been more maidservant than septa, it was true, and mayhaps she had never really said the right vows, but it hardly mattered, did it? She wore grey robes, for white showed stains too readily, and carefully veiled her hair, which she kept cropped to her chin to make it easier to tend to. Septa Arla always said a maid of her size would always stand out and attract trouble, so she ought to let the Seven be her shield.

Summary
"They think you are a man," Aeryn murmured, leaning in. "They think I am debasing myself with a common hedge knight. If only they knew the truth… that I am debasing myself with a woman."
Dunk froze, her heart hammering against the tight linen bindings that flattened her chest. "Please. Don't say it."
"Why?" Aeryn smirked. "Does it frighten you, Ser? The truth?"
"It gets me killed," Dunk said bluntly. "And it ruins you. If they knew you were… with me…"
"With you?" Aeryn raised an eyebrow. "Are we together, Ser Duncan? Is that what this is?"
Princess Aeryn (Aerion) discovers that Ser Duncan is actually a woman.
Yes, this is yuri. Also, Aeryn suffocates from Dunk sitting on her face.

Summary
"Apologies, Lord Lannister," Ser Duncan says, his voice steady, tone stern. Aerion has to, embarrassingly enough, go on his tiptoes to catch a look at his profile, and his face seems confident, not at all intimidated by the annoyed gaze Lannister throws him. "Prince Maekar was very clear that no one was to touch Prince Aerion without his explicit consent."
Lord Lannister makes a complicated face, as if he can't quite understand the words out of Ser Duncan's mouth. "Pardon me? No, Prince Maekar wants his son wed within the year. All of the Seven Kingdoms has heard it by now. If he expects no one to touch him, he might as well lock him in his chambers and lose the key!"
Aerion steps forward as white-hot anger flashes in his veins; he moves, intending to beat this puny little lord's insolence to a bloody pulp, but Ser Duncan throws an arm out and forcibly shoves Aerion back behind him, a warning growl on his lips.
Lord Lannister freezes. Aerion freezes. Ser Duncan stays relaxed.

Summary
The skies burst open with a merciless torrential rain when Aerion’s giving birth to his seventh child within the warm halls of Summerhall castle; and a sudden mishap with a fallen candle causes the birthing chamber to sink into flame.
It is Dunk's worst nightmare come to life.
