Summary
Jisung gets invited to tag along for a two-week-long summer vacation in a lake house with his best friend, Jeongin, and his family. Everything would be great if only Jeongin’s step-brother, Minho, wasn’t the guy of his dreams, and if his existence didn’t throw a wrench into Jisung’s plans of blissful relaxation, turning his world upside-down.

Summary
“Is the seat next to you taken?”
Minho looks up, fixing the round rimmed glasses on the bridge of his nose, and finds the guy that has clearly become familiar against his will standing there, fingers curled around the strap of his bag.
“Ah. Jiwon,” he says. “I suppose this row has enough seats for both of us.”
“Jisung,” he corrects, settling down with one chair of respectful distance between them. He sounds amused by the mistake. Minho is just happy they won’t be bumping elbows. “But you can call me anything you want.”
Minho’s eyebrows shoot up. “Does that line usually work for you?”
“I don’t know,” Jisung laughs, setting his laptop on the desk and pulling out a giant can of an energy drink out of his bag. He pops it open and takes a generous swig. “It’s the first time I’ve ever used it.”
(Minho moves to Seoul with one rule at the forefront of his mind: to not give his heart away to a hockey player. Jisung breaks it for him.)

Summary
Minho has had enough of his family setting him up on dates with children of their friends, so when Christmas rolls around and his mom is insistent on trying to find the love of his life again, he snaps and tells her he’s already dating someone. He just doesn’t know why she assumes it’s his best friend, Jisung, that he’s dating.

Summary
Minho has so much money in his bank account that he pays Jisung much more than they had initially agreed on. So much more that Jisung gained a kind of financial security that allowed him to stop going out with other clients two months into their arrangement; enough that Jisung could pull through for a few months if Minho decided to let him go.
But Minho takes him by the hand and he doesn’t look like he wants to.
(Jisung is an Arts student in need of money, and Minho is a rich guy in need of a fake boyfriend.)

Summary
Changbin brings Hyunjin up with Minho, too, when Miyoung is washing up before bed upstairs. He’s a master of subtlety, though. He says that if they need him to pick her up from school, he’s available.
Minho narrows his eyes at him, the same exact way Miyoung did earlier.
“You were practically crying when I asked you earlier,” he points out. And before Changbin can respond to that, say that he was just unfamiliar with how easy it was, the realization dawns on Minho and he grins like the devil. “You think the teacher’s hot, don’t you?”
Changbin splutters.
(When Minho asks Changbin to pick his daughter up from school, Changbin expects it to be slightly anxiety-inducing, but otherwise uneventful. What he doesn’t expect is to fall head over heels and develop a debilitating crush on Miyoung’s Arts teacher, Hyunjin.)
