And it is an obscene question because, on more than one occasion tonight, Sophie has believed Margo completely capable of killing her. She knows that, in Margo’s world, Margo comes first and that it is the way it will always be.
But the most ludicrous thing of all is, despite all that, Sophie does trust her.
She trusts her more than anyone else in her life, and they both know she would hang the moon and the stars if only it meant getting to exist in Margo’s atmosphere.
