Special Note: I still can’t quite believe this collaboration actually happened—msrafterdark agreeing to create a piece inspired by one of my fanfictions is something I’ve dreamed about for a long time.
A sincere thank you to her, not only for taking the time to read the work, but for bringing it to life in such a beautiful and intimate way. The artwork she created is truly stunning (like all of her work), and I’m incredibly grateful for her talent and generosity.

Summary: Mulder and Scully are in the early months of their now-intimate relationship. I thank this prompt for being the start of my fic-writing endeavor in the fandom. It sounded like a fun idea and so I decided to give it a try. The response gave me the encouragement and confidence to continue writing and I'm so happy I'm still doing it today.

“Move,” Mulder orders, his voice low and gravelly, wrapping a large hand around Scully's bicep and pulling her aside.
She struggles against him, mentally reviewing the profile, desperate to think of a way to stop this. The other victims hadn’t been violent for violence’s sake. Reduced to their basic instincts, they had fallen back to protect what they had considered theirs.
She needs to get Mulder out. And as much as she hates appearing weak, she knows exactly how to do it. She knows exactly what Mulder considers his.

Summary
Over six years, 42 Hegel Place had changed. Mulder’s bachelor pad had been rearranged, reflecting his mercurial moods. Since his brain had been lobbed into by their enemies, Scully was spending more time there than ever; influencing its arrangement. It is where they both retreated at the end of a long week.
Their Friday movie-routine, however, becomes disrupted when Mulder starts “accidentally” leaving his adult films in the VHS player for Scully to find.
Was he trying to shock her, inspire interest, or tell her about himself?
