“I haven’t been to Sandrine’s in years,” she said.
“So?”
“Best out of three?” she asked. “The loser makes dinner.”
“You’re on, Janeway. Tell me when, and I’ll book it, okay?”
“Okay,” she agreed, and when he watched her blush once again, he felt like he was the one who got a bit drunk.
He went to his quarters, had a shower, and when he came out and caught a glance of himself in the mirror, he realised that he was grinning like an idiot.
