Summary
When the Queen tells Rumplestiltskin that Belle died by her own hand after being subjected to the clerics’ purification of her soul, he is confident by that detail that it must be the truth; Belle had told him enough about them that he knew she would never live under their control again. But after discovering Belle is alive after all, two certainties war within him: first, that he needs her back, and second, that he has no intent to change, if that means abandoning work on his Dark Curse.
Belle, finding herself imprisoned again by Rumplestiltskin, learns how she was used by the Queen to betray him and resolves to never be someone’s tool again. When she decides to take a stand against Regina, Rumplestiltskin finds himself drafted into her quest.
Will they take this second change they've been given, or is true love doomed again without a change of heart?
