'Moiraine’s laugh huffed out of her at that. Then she bit her lip, swallowing hard, her fingers softening in Siuan’s thick hair, “I need you,” she said, words she would never have said like that to another soul beyond the safety of these walls and Siuan’s embrace.
“I know,” she said, leaning forwards and resting her forehead on Moiraine’s stomach, hands holding her hips, somehow steadying her even while she knelt at her feet. She looked up, with such love in her eyes, and whispered, “I am here now. You can let it all go. Give it to me,” she pressed a soft kiss to her thigh, over an old scar, “You’ve no need of anything here but me.”'
