Summary
She gasped as she woke up, fingers digging into mossy dirt. Dirt? Imogen blinked, trying to clear the fog. The last thing she had seen before the blinding blast of energy was the sky turning from black to red to white, and a horrible laugh echoed within her mind. She shook her head before finally seeing her surroundings.
She was sitting up on a mildly rocky forest floor surrounded by trees. A chilly breeze blew by. “Laudna? Laudna?!” she cried out. There was no response as Imogen began looking around, and her breathing quickened. The forest was quiet and smelled of earth and… salt?
“Imogen?” FCG asked. She whipped her head around and saw FCG wheeling up to her with concern written in his metal frame. Chetney and Fearne were on the ground behind them and Imogen scrambled to get up. “I think we were just knocked out, is all…”
Half of Bells Hells wake up in an unfamiliar coastal forest. Who awaits them, and how long will they need to travel through unfamiliar dangers before finding the rest of their friends?

Summary
The sending stone’s glow dims as the message envelops the empty room. The words echo, ringing and ringing. Dorian’s heart feels ready to rupture with a million different feelings, still reeling.
His shoulders feel burdened with a weight that will likely never be relieved, but even hearing Orym’s voice lightened the load ever so slightly. It felt like forever had passed in between their last conversation, their last goodbye. Definitely forever since he had seen Orym and the eternal sadness etched in the face of a man far too young to have deserved it. Dorian hadn’t even realized a tear had escaped until the chill of the wind through the open window touched upon his cheek. He gripped the sending stone, dimming the glow further between his fingers, and steeled himself. He will see Orym again.

Summary
“Yeah? Please, enlighten me.” Ashton’s tone was less reverent than it probably should be, given who they were talking to, but the grief inside them was so jagged that it was bleeding him dry. He needed it to bleed into someone else, to spread, to stab and to wound and to hurt. They didn’t have the energy to do anything besides stew in the rage of it, trying to drown the pain. They didn’t want the rest of Bells Hells to be caught in the emotional minefield, though, so here he was outside.
Despite all the trust exercises in the Fey Realm, Ashton can't bring himself to burden Bells Hells with their feelings about the fight in the moon cave. Finally finding a quiet moment in Whitestone to be alone (without the energy to smash things), another soul who's been broken and put together more times than he could count may be just what Ashton needs to hear.
