   Summary

   Gideon feels like someone altogether different. Someone altogether new. She feels so far away from the crushed, defeated, lost girl that shoved her six shirts, two pairs of pants, and four dirty magazines into a duffle bag and drove until her car literally broke down on the side of the road so that she didn’t have to face reality. Now her reality has completely changed. Her reality is a beautiful girl in denim overalls on horseback, breeze ruffling her hair as her laugh gets lost in the wind. Gideon is struck by how much she doesn’t want to leave, which is crazy because she’s a guest who has been here for forty-eight hours. This is not her home. This place doesn’t belong to her. Camilla doesn’t belong to her.
