Summary
After waiting for so long my wife asked me to finish the story for her and I thought I would share it just in case anyone else would like to read my version while they wait for the real thing.
In the wake of treachery and war, Westeros teeters on the edge of the Long Night. Jon Snow, betrayed and murdered by his own brothers, is resurrected by Melisandre, but he returns changed, haunted by visions of Bran and a future consumed by ice. Bran Stark, now the Three-Eyed Raven, delves into the past and uncovers the truth of Jon’s parentage. Stannis Baratheon’s final gambit against the Boltons ends in blood, while Theon Greyjoy exacts brutal vengeance on Ramsay Bolton. In the South, Cersei Lannister tightens her grip on King’s Landing, turning Tommen into her puppet. Meanwhile, the White Walkers stir, their army growing as an ancient force awakens. As factions scheme and betray, Euron works to unleash ancient forces. Daenerys returns to Meereen after receiving a fiery vision. The game of thrones continues, but winter is here, and death marches with it.

Jon Connington, the exile loyalist of Rhaegar returned to Westeros, builds the cause of Rhaegar's son in the Seven Kingdoms. King's Landing writhes in the aftermath of Kevan Lannister's death, Meereen burns as Daenerys's loyalists prepare to meet the queen's enemies in battle, and the quarrelsome powers in the North will fill the lands with blood before winter comes. Whether noble or slave, royal or peasant, soldier or priest, virtuous or wicked, they must all face the winter winds that herald the storm.

Summary
A post S8 GOT story.
Canon (tv) except for a few changes:
Sansa is chosen by Tyrion instead of Bran.
Jaime survived the cave-in, was unconscious not dead. Hightailed out of there because he assumed Daenerys would execute him. In hiding, goes to Essos.
Arya gave Jon the Catspaw dagger and he killed Daenerys with it.
Daenerys is resurrected but the trauma of what happened left her with no memory of it.
Rhaegal did not die because that was just too easy and Viserion is resurrected by magic.
Jon finds out in the North that there is a greater enemy by far than the being Arya killed that night.
An exploration of how D&D left Westeros and Essos a mess and what (my perception of) the characters will do about it.
Self indulgent crackfic, based on show but expanding into book lore.
Seemed to me Dany, Jon, Sansa, Jaime, Tyrion and Arya were pretty much butchered in S8. Just my opinion. I wasn’t expecting a happy ending, but I wanted something satisfying. Since instead we got that, now I want a happy ending!
This fic is just for fun.

Summary
Arya wants to live, but surviving the destruction of King's Landing and it's consequences makes her wonder if she's capable of it anymore. The God of Death may have claimed her completely this time.
Gendry only wants two things, to be with Arya and for her to be happy. He not even be able to have one, and blames Daenerys Targaryen it.
Jon wants peace, but that seems impossible now. His only hope is to keep Daenerys happy and make sure she is obeyed, at least for a little while.
