She didn’t for a second believe that this date was what he said it was, but she didn’t believe it was a regular date, either. She didn’t know what was going to happen, she only knew that she wanted to find out. She was like that woman in the horror movie who couldn’t help looking behind the door—only it didn’t feel like that kind of anticipation. Not exactly.
