What would happen if the Fourth Anniversary Animation “Unawakened Dream” was the original story? What would happen if Aether never woke up, if the world fell into shambles? What if the main storyline we’ve been following was never the real story at all?

Make sure to read the notes- they’re important to explaining the story!! Unawakened Dream doesn’t come into the story until the second part of this series, but there are snippets of what will happen in the future in this fic! Finally, this story started last year and is based on theories, so some of the contents might turn out to be untrue in the future. I hope you enjoy!! :D (Also take note- this is my first ever fic so this is a learning process lol)

Summary
The history of Teyvat was well-known to the players. Or not. Depends.
The Heavenly Principles or The ‘Primordial One’ alongside Its Four Shining Shades, took Teyvat as Its own when the Dragon King Nibelung left the world to search amongst the sea of stars a solution to stop the calamity about to happen in His beloved world, leaving behind the Three Moon Sisters on His stead. Battles and wars occurred when the Dragon King Nibelung returned, and the aftermath of these remains present—whether or not the reason behind was known to mortals or descendants of the dragonkin.
But what if these never happened?
What if these two never fought?
What if these two allied with one another instead?
What if this new turn of events in the ancient past caused the Dragon King Nibelung and the Heavenly Principles to never have an heir?
The New Loom of Fate took matters into its own hands, taking several gods in the Teyvat we knew, dead or alive, alongside the Traveler and their sibling, into this other timeline.

Or: 5 times that Angel’s Share served as a place where people showed their love for others (slightly to Diluc’s dismay) + 2 times it served the same purpose for Diluc (even more to his dismay)
