The thing is: Harry Hart may be outwardly suave, confident and charming, but deep down - or shallowly, if you know where to look (and Merlin does) - he’s actually the exact opposite. Merlin has known Harry for a long time - since before he was Arthur, before he was Galahad, even. When Merlin met Harry he wasn’t Harry at all - he was Henry: gangly and spotty and far too engrossed in the study of butterflies of all things to care about such matters of the heart. Harry Hart may carry himself with an air of romance now, but the boy that Merlin knew all those years ago still lingers under the surface, unsure and over-excited at the best of times. One just has to overlook the smoke and mirrors involved in the show and there he is, plain as day.

“Why are you naked in my bed?”
Robin was leaned against the doorframe of her tiny bedroom, wrapped up in a robe and clearly midway through brushing her teeth. Cormoran, on the other hand, was bollocks naked, laying face down on her mattress. His prosthesis was a forgotten memory, and he drunkenly thanked his lucky stars that the towel he had wrapped himself in after his shower was draped haphazardly over his arse cheeks.
