there were some nods of affirmation from max and lucas, but it was the look on will’s face that had him frozen in his place. his best friend was looking at him with a mix of something that mike couldn’t put his finger on. it was–– and suddenly he grinned, something minutely smug, as he rested his head on the couch seats again, letting his hair fan out once more. yeah, this was definitely the alcohol talking (though he wanted to kiss will more than anything he’d ever wanted, wanted his best friend to press him into the cushions and kiss him breathless, wanted those artful fingers to trace his skin and—) he swallowed, a small hum slipping past his lips. “yeah, okay,” he thought tipsily. he could do that. he could lay here and let himself be kissed. seconds dragged on before a small snicker fell past his lips. yeah, he could definitely do this (he’d never been good under people’s attention, never knowing what to do with himself; the alcohol certainly didn’t hurt, though.)
“okay,” he murmured, easy grin settling onto his lips, eyes fluttering closed.“ yeah, i can do that. you guys can kiss me.”
