“Keep it down, Redfield,” Leon mutters, “I’m fine.” He glances around. The cylindrical chamber he is trapped in is about the size of a prison cell, fully glass except for the shallow steel dome of the ceiling.
“Apart from being turned into a museum display for handsomeness, that is,” Leon adds, looking back with a smirk and a wink that Chris does not seem to appreciate.

Summary
Chris barely even knows his name, even after China. He finds himself mourning the soldier that had been the only person to connect in his thoughts and wonders who on earth could be his POA that the hospital he ditched had mentioned. Then a vaguely familiar blond shows up to interrupt his wallowing and Chris realizes that this man-- Agent Leon S. Kennedy-- knows him a lot better than Chris had originally thought.

They pull Piers out of the ocean and patch him up as best they can, but some things will never be the same. Chris can't forgive himself and Piers doesn't trust himself, and between them is a chasm of things unspoken.
