“I didn’t know you were coming,” Illumi says, his voice airy and bland like the one flight attendants use when they’re welcoming passengers onto a plane.
Hisoka considers rising to meet him, pressing their bodies together, and greeting him with a slick, sloppy kiss. Wonders if it might pull a reaction out of the butlers, if they might look away in disgust or watch with too much interest. But Illumi’s aura is denser than usual, almost suffocating in the enclosed space. Waves of purple swirling around his body, forming clots. So he says, “I hope I’m not interrupting anything.”
“You are, but it’s only mildly inconvenient.” Illumi stops near the coffee table and peers down at the tea tray. He frowns, which is to say his face stays exactly the same but there are notes of frustration and annoyance in his tone when he says, “Oh, they’ve forgotten the ladyfingers.”
___A fic in which Hisoka visits Illumi at home after the events of the Election Arc. Illumi is still processing his emotions after losing Killua and Alluka. Hisoka does his best to rile up Illumi’s bloodlust to get the violent, passionate reward owed to him after doing Illumi a favor.
