Summary
Annabeth Chase is between a rock and a hard place.
About to start her seventh and last year at Hogwarts, her mother ropes her into a political arrangement that threatens to jeopardize the future she’s worked so hard to achieve.
But there's a light at the end of the tunnel: the Triwizard Tournament has returned after centuries of hiatus, and being the victor might be just what Annabeth needs to escape her situation. However, winning the Tournament is no easy task, and she is going to have to swallow her pride and ask Percy Jackson's help, of all people.
Certainly things will not spiral out of control. Annabeth has everything figured out, thank you very much.

Look, Percy didn't want to be a superhero. Paying his rent on time was already hard enough. But life rarely goes according to Percy Jackson's plans, and when a life-or-death situation awakens a power he didn't know he had, Percy is forced to join the superhero program.
Annabeth, on the other hand, always did everything she could to be part of the superhero world, but having been born without powers, she is doomed to always be sidelined while others achieve glory. But when the principal male lead gets injured, he's given the chance to dance with Annabeth -- the company's star, recently back after a long leave of absence. He's got one chance to dance with her in rehearsal. As he takes his spot at the front of the room, he knows that this is not simply a rehearsal. It's an audition.
The sudden retirement of Annabeth's ex-finacé had left one male principal spot open in the company, and Percy is determined to finally earn his promotion.

For a moment, he just stared back at her, heart now thumping almost painfully fast as he tried to decide how to respond to that. She was right of course, but now that the moment he'd been waiting for had definitely arrived, was he really prepared to do this?
"Are we talking about poetry?" He finally asked, mouth dry, as though he didn't already know the answer to his own question, "Or are we talking about…something else?"
