“If that happens,” Harry said flatly, “I’m taking you down with me.”
Or: Harry Potter was an evil temptress, and Tom, alone among fools, would not fall for it.

“Maybe that’s why you got poisoned.” Harry said with a grin. He brushed a stray lock of hair back from Tom’s face, the touch far gentler than Tom expected. “Someone got envious of that pretty face of yours, just like they did with Snow White.”
Or hated my rotten personality. One of those seems more likely than the other, Tom spelled.
Harry laughed. “Ah, yes. The great debate. What is Tom Riddle more,” he mused, “pretty, or awful?”
Pretty awful, appeared in the air.
“Awfully pretty,” Harry replied.

Summary
Harry’s interest in Tom is purely professional. He’d make an interesting character in one of his future books, that’s all, and Tom certainly doesn’t seem to feel anything for Harry outside of mild annoyance.
And if neither have met their soulmates by now, what are the odds that they'd find their match at Borgin & Burkes, of all places?

Summary
While on the hunt for Horcruxes, a chance encounter with Death Eaters ends with Harry being sent back in time to 1942 and de-aged to five years old. The horcrux inside of him leads Headmaster Dippet to the absurd conclusion that Harry must be Tom Riddle’s son from the future. Dippet believes it is best for model student Tom to take care of Harry until they find a way to send him back to his time.
Tom is not happy with this arrangement at first.
