Now, Hayasaka knows Chika is a little unusual. All the running around Shuchiin with the table-top games club pretending to be in an RPG, the whole Love Detective bit which includes a hat and a fake smoking pipe and the mysterious ways her bow works speak for themselves.
However, even for Chika, Hayasaka thinks that what is currently happening in front of her is a little bit more than unusual.

“Hayasaka-san… You really are a professional, aren’t you…” The wistful tone of Chika’s voice brings Hayasaka out of her revenge fantasies by reminding her that, before this mess, the student council secretary didn’t know about her past as Kaguya’s maid.
“Sorry for hiding it from you this whole time.” Hayasaka’s voice is sad at first but gets stronger with her proclamation. “But no matter what happens, I swear I’ll keep you safe”
Hayasaka is staring straight ahead so she doesn’t see the blush and look of infatuation on Chika’s face.
“Once everything is over, just this once, I wouldn’t mind letting you kiss me…”
“Huh?!”
