It's not his fault. Really, it's not. If anyone is to blame it's Billy Hargrove. For always crowding in on him, pinning him into lockers in the hallway just to annoy him, for just. Touching, touching, touching.
Another day full of relentless teasing, sharp smirks, and calloused hands grabbing his waist after Billy snuck up behind him in the cafeteria. Giving him a squeeze and cackling loudly when Steve's yelp of surprise had heads turning. And annoying and arrogant as he might be, Steve is sort of into it.
Which is bad. Very bad. Mostly considering the fact that he’s claimed.

Summary
After the worst night of Steve’s life, he wakes up in a strange bed feeling like he got run over by a truck. He thought getting dumped at a frat party on Halloween was rock bottom, but that was before he realized he wasn’t alone.
Billy Hargrove might be the last alpha Steve expects to see when he rolls over, but it’s just a regrettable one-night stand. A walk of shame and no one has to know.
Except Billy answers Steve’s phone and insists on tagging along when Steve says he needs to pick someone up.

Jaskier has just come across the most interesting Alpha.
He smells him first; it’s easy to notice the difference, the tavern so far being comprised only of scentless Betas, with the exception of himself as the sole Omega. Then the door of the establishment opens and, alongside a hot gust of late-spring air, comes the indistinguishable musk that characterises most Alpha scents. This one is combined with fresh sweat, horse and a faint iron trace of blood.
There is something about him, something that calls to Jaskier. And it isn’t necessarily his scent, heady and delicious as it is, or even his striking features, his shock-white hair and amber eyes, though those are certainly not a deterrent. It’s something more, and Jaskier doesn’t know what exactly it is, but he’s going to do his very best to find out.
