Summary
The west is booming with towns popping up left and right. Some are growing rapidly and others staying simple and small. It is in one of these booming towns Bucky Barnes finds himself working along side his long time best friend, Sheriff Steve Rogers, as a deputy in Bandera, Texas.
With the large boom in towns comes a large uprising in crimes. Specifically bank robberies. The Black Widow has been striking the large and small towns alike with no remorse or care for those left in her wake. Until she hits Bandera.I do not own nor claim to own the rights to marvel characters
A few chapters do have mentions of Rape, no graphic details are ever mentioned. Warnings are placed in front of each chapter where the mentions occur

Summary

This fic is designed as a bridge after Black Widow partnered on missions with the Winter Soldier, through her tenure at S.H.I.E.L.D, & including MCU’s 'Captain America: The Winter Soldier.' For those following my fics, this is a narrative one-off after my Wolves At the Door series, just before the anticipated events of 'Avengers: Age of Ultron' and a prequel to 'Captain America: Civil War'. (But you don't need to have read that to enjoy this!)
In this fic, I touch on Peggy Carter & the SSR, and include many other MCU references. Cameos from many in 'Agents of SHIELD.'
Folks wanting to jump right into the events of CA:TWS can go to Chapter 17.
Comic 616 storylines made MCU-plausible. Mature sexual situations. Comments are always appreciated.
