Summary
The color red in the shape of a cardinal pains me. He looks so small yet sturdy. Stern but irreverent in his proceedings. The cardinal in red marks us as his piccola colomba’s, another reason to not fight the desire boiling inside me. I need to understand the peculiar feeling I get when I see the color on him. I need to shed the red and see what’s underneath. Will it be everything I dreamt of in all its unholyness?
