“Hello, Quark!” Ishka crooned, smiling a toothy, bejeweled, clothed smile at her son. “I’ve been meaning to get a hold of you for quite some time, now!”
Quark loved his mother.
He really did.
But Moogie got under his nerves like nobody else did.
“Oh? You did?” Quark asked, doing his best not to sneer at his mother. He didn’t want to be outright disrespectful — she did raise him.
“Yes! I was going to ask you if you could take on a favor.” His mother smirked over the screen. “There's a woman named Yasha. She’s been learning how to make a profit as a female.”
A stone dropped in his belly.
