Gi-hun is a waiter for a grossly rich businessman. He powers through normalized abuse to support for his very sick infant daughter, Ga-yeong. As a single father, with basically no work experience, he sees no way out except to power through for his daughter.
Hwang In-ho, the owner of a popular soju company, doesnt seem to be a fan of this arangement. He doesn't pause consider if offering the clumsy waiter a position below him instead is a mistake.
As the lines between boss and employee fade into something more intimate, they both are left to wonder what will come of the future.
