Summary

You do what you want when you got it all. Then the choir starts. Some song about fools and sanity, whatever. My eyes drift to the front, and there’s this kid, Simon Eriksson, I guess, leading it. Dark curls, sharp cheekbones, voice cutting through the noise like a blade. He’s good. Too good for this place. Some dick in the back snickers, muttering, “Louder, scholarship,” and Simon’s jaw tightens, but he keeps singing, louder, fiercer. Our eyes lock for a split second and I feel a jolt. Not sure what it is, but it’s something.

Summary
Wilhelm doesn't exactly have a precedent for violence, but he still ends up punching a guy in the face and subsequently being sent off to a remote boarding school far from where he can embarrass the Crown. But much to Wilhelm's surprise, Hillerska has more than crushing rules and constantly watching eyes. It has Simon. And Simon is someone that brash, rebellious, family-disappointment Wilhelm never could of dreamed up.
Disaster, of course, ensues.
Or: Rebel!Wille meets Nerd!Simon and they fall in love just like they do in every universe.
