Summary
Gi-hun’s body shakes and he feels wetness against the skin of his neck. God, he really is crying.
In-ho runs a hand from Gi-hun’s lower back to his neck and finally to his hair. He strokes it gently as Gi-hun babbles nonsense to his skin, something about being sorry. It would be so easy to just move his hands lower and grab his ass, but he doubts Gi-hun would let that fly right now.
He grips his hair, not harsh but firm enough to pull his head back slightly so he can look at him. Gi-hun allows it, basically putty in his hands from a simple hug.
His eyes are red and brimmed with tears, and his cheeks are wet. It’s truly a sight to behold. In-ho swallows.
“Gi-hun…” he whispers. He tries to keep the awe out of his expression and suppresses the urge to lean in and lick the tears off his face. For now. “Let me help you, hmm? You’re stressed.”
Gi-hun frowns slightly. “Help..?” he asks.
In-ho has just about had it. He lets go of Gi-hun and grabs his arm yet again, to drag him to the closest stall.

Summary
“Do you really still have faith in people?”
Gi-hun froze when he heard the familiar words. The Frontman had asked him this before. In the same place. When Gi-hun had been leaving the room, he stopped him and asked him about it.
He did not answer him then.
He looked at In-ho's face, which was expecting an answer, yet seemed indifferent at the same time.
“I do.”
Gi-hun is trapped in a time loop, desperate to put an end to the games so much that he doesn't even notice what his real mission was.

Summary
"Are you satisfied with how things went?" the traveler questioned, even though he could tell the answer just by a single look at In-ho's face.
"That's what I thought." his other version, unfazed yet thoughtful, didn't fail to notice the way he fought the urge to shred tears of sadness, guilt, regret, grief, and so much more. "I got a mission for you and, if you succeed on doing it, I can provide you two options that can change your future."
In-ho slowly rose his head, somewhat curious about what this paralel version of himself had to offer. In a low, almost inaudible voice, he managed to ask: "...what mission?"
The traveler approached carefully, piercing his eyes as if this was the last chance he could do things right. For both of them.
"To save Seong Gi-hun."
Or, time-traveler In-ho trying to fix the present by going back to year of 2020 before Gi-hun joins the games for the first time.
