Schelemeus, standing at the prow of his ship with the wind in his hair—long black hair, in Zagreus' mind—and bantering with his crew as they journeyed in search of... something. Gold, glory, adventure. The particulars didn't matter much in the context of Zagreus' dream.
And it was a dream. He could recognize that much. He must have fallen asleep while considering this scenario, and now by Hypnos' grace he was standing next to Schelemeus on the deck of a ship that looked like an enlarged version of Charon's boat with a dozen faceless crewmen rowing the vessel across the waves.
And Schelemeus, clad in a chiton that did little to conceal his bony physicality, chuckled at Zagreus. "Rowing? Boyo, you're really taking the wind out of my sails here."
