Summary
A tumble down the wrong pipe and Luigi finds himself in the claws of a dangerous beast, self proclaimed "future ruler of the universe, baby!", King Bowser of the Koopas. As he desperately tries to save his own skin in this new and unfamiliar land of lava and talking giant turtles, his brother Mario dives headfirst into adventure to save him from the tyrannical king.
In which, Luigi's not having a good time, Mario's having even less of a good time and Bowser might be starting to grow attached to the little green nuisance the guards dragged in the other day.
