Beloved.
That word stung, although part of Bruce recognised that it should not: although he had loved Talia passionately, that had been many years ago. They had both changed since then. It was only natural that she should move on with another, as he had with Selina.
“You seem confused,” Talia continued. “I speak of Bruce Wayne, of course. The one native to this universe."
Alternatively: the Bruce Waynes of two very different universes switch places.
