Dwalin tightened his hold a little, tucking the back of Nori’s head beneath his chin. “You’re not a tool,” he murmured into his hair. “You’re you. If I wanted someone who’d do everything I told them to… well, that’s not who ye are, is it? That’s not the Nori I fell in love with.”
