Scylla didn’t know what to say to that. For as much as she wanted to take Raelle’s word as gospel, she was biased. Raelle was willing to look past her flaws because she was enamored. And, she wanted to believe Raelle. She really did. But the nagging feeling at the back of her head told her she couldn’t.
