Summary

Summary
Hob should have fucking known Dream, in his Endless lifetime, had learned how to wield such a weapon. Should have known when Dream came prepared with black leather gauntlets up to his elbows and supple black leather pants that would provide protection in addition to range of movement.
He just hadn’t thought… well, that didn’t matter now. Just leave it at that. Hob hadn’t thought.
Hob needs someone to sub in for an edged weapons demo very last minute. He probably should have been suspicious when Dream offered.

- Every chapter is character development *jazz hands*
- Centuries of pining, bad decisions, and unbuttoned shirts.
- Real plot starts happening in chapter 3!
- Hob has a lot of dreams! I wonder why! (from chapter 4)
- Extremely self-indulgent. Probably turns into a buddy comedy with will-they-won't-they energy. (They will.)
- Slow burn? Absolutely. Smut? Eventually. Emotional devastation? Without a doubt.
- A lot of hurt no comfort but it has a happy ending, I promise!
