Summary
Takes place in 2001, Sam just ran away to go to Stanford to pursue his dream of becoming a lawyer. This leaves 22 year old Dean alone with their rough around the edges father.
John was always bringing his beautiful doll-faced, green-eyed son to all these no-tell motels, claiming they're working together. Nobody ever believes him, of course. Dean was a nice side piece afterall, who could blame them for their curious glances, and questioning thoughts.

Summary
After losing Sam, thinking his brother has been killed by a nest of vampires, Dean walks away from hunting, unable to bear life without Sam. Heartbroken, he weaves his way from Georgia, where Sam died, to New Hampshire, settling in Portsmouth and trying to make a life for himself. Angered by Dean’s abandonment and fueled by his rage over being abandoned, Sam cuts a bloody path from Georgia, instinctively following after Dean with the intention of dropping as many bodies along the way as a signal to his brother that he’s coming for Dean and that he intends to make his brother pay for leaving him before making Dean understand that there’s no getting away from him.
