Summary
As the sky filled with gold specks shooting across it, Andrew felt a lump form in his throat. He hadn’t cried in so long. He didn’t cry when Neil died, when he finally accepted his death. To tell the truth, he still hadn’t fully accepted that Neil was gone. He still held his breath whenever the door to their dorm opened. He still expected him to run into the locker room with an apology for being late. He still expected it to be a joke, that eventually Neil would pop out and say “surprise!” Andrew hated surprises, but it was preferable to the pain spreading through his chest.

Summary
Andrew could practically feel Neil’s smile from across the court yet that wasn’t what he was thinking about. Exy was considered a violent sport not just because of how people played during the game.
Andrew was moving before anything happened and yelled at Neil to turn the fuck around from where he was talking with his sub. Or even run for fuck’s sake. If there was ever a time Andrew had wanted Neil to run, that would be it.

Summary
“I hate you,” Andrew snaps, voice crackling over the phone.
“Love you too,” Neil replies. “I’ll be there soon.” Andrew hangs up immediately. Neil puts his phone in his pocket and turns back to Matt and Dan, who are gawking at him, having heard the whole conversation.
“He hates you,” Dan says suspiciously. “Neil. You must realize how that sounds.”
“Does he expect you to fix his coffee machine? Is that why he called you?” Matt asks.
Neil scoffs. “You can stop mother henning, assholes. I don’t know if he expects me to fix the coffee machine,” he spits sarcastically. “I might end up doing it because it’s our coffee machine because we have lived together for nearly a year. What the hell are you trying to get at here?”
Sometimes Neil's friends forget that Andrew is a real person behind his tattoos.

Summary
Neil’s been trying (and failing) to get his music career back on track after his father’s death. He knows he can’t say no when major music legend Andrew Minyard (or AJM, as he’s globally known) reaches out to collaborate. As he and Andrew work together, old memories resurface, and along with them, so do some long-buried feelings.
Maybe remembering them isn’t such a bad thing after all.

Summary
“You know Aaron actually sent me a meme yesterday, you think he’s forgiven me?” Neil asked, curled up at the end of the couch, his laptop on the coffee table showing Andrew’s somewhat pixellated face.
“Aaron said he’d steal my knives and stab you himself if you, and I quote, ‘mess this shit up again’,” Andrew replied, leaning back against his pillow, “I told him that I called dibs on that five years ago.” he shifted again, probably trying to get the blanket wrapped around his feet like he refused to admit he liked, and Neil ached to brush his fingers over the skin behind his knees
