Summary
The city of Paradis was once a beautiful town, rich and prosper. But a mysterious incident that occurred years ago practically wiped the city off the map. Erwin Smith hopes to rebuild his mother's childhood home by becoming the mayor of Paradis but he quickly discovers why the city is the way it is. He figures his first step in changing the city is to start with the ramen bowl shop that's run by a very short-tempered man with pretty hair and smooth skin.
Levi Ackerman lives with his drunken uncle and manages the only working restaurant in the area. He loves his job, and he loves cooking but he would love it even more if they got actual customers. Out of the blue one day, a random man walks in to his restaurant and introduces himself as Erwin Smith. He asks too many questions and Levi feels suspicious of him. He's not sure what that tall, handsome and strange Australian man wants but it can't be any good.
With the help of a group of well-meaning teenagers and an unusual council, Erwin is optimistic for the future of Paradis. Fixing the city seems like his toughest challenge but really, the hardest thing is not falling in love with the chef at the ramen bowl shop.
