They try their hardest to deter the attention away from the more than just friendly dynamic between the world-winning figure skater of Dragonstone and the hot shot hockey player beloved by the female fans. “Roommates” and “very close friends”, the press called them— similar to the running joke that art historians would refer to any erotic art depicting a gay couple as ‘dear friends’.
