    The curse is Katsuki's fault for reaching too far. As he spent each year growing a little older, seeing Eijirou never aging, he became acutely aware of the numbered days they would have, a mere fraction of the infinite lifetime of a dragon. So he sought to attain immortality that no human was meant to possess, and at the end of their quest it came with its price: Eijirou bound to his dragon form by day and Katsuki transformed into a wolf by night. That — they were told — was the cost for Katsuki’s pride.
