The Big Short was written by Micheal Lewis back in 2010. The movie was produced in 2015. I am now writing exactly what happens in the MOVIE here, onto ao3.
Sadly I am unable to capture Christan Bale's beauty in words, so I guess you'll just have to watch the movie for that.
