Summary
Abby says something indistinct over the music. Max makes a face to indicate she couldn’t hear and bends closer. Abby leans in. The ends of her hair tickle Max’s collarbones and she has to remind herself to breathe. Sometimes when you’ve been feeling sick for so long you stop noticing it at all. It’s the same thing with the effect Abby has on her; sometimes she thinks she’s grown used to it. Other times it hits her like a fever spike.
Abby says, in her ear: “You’re so quiet these days.”
Max rears back. The sick feeling is all throughout her body now.
OR: how I think S4 should go, featuring fucked-up teenage decisions, Brodie's basement (again... and again...) and stupid, helpless, crazy girls.
