“I’m not— what, you want me to kiss Ivan?” Till demands, spinning around to shoot his best friend a disgusted glance. He sort of expects Ivan to be watching the interaction with as much disbelief as he feels, amused at the insinuation. Instead, Ivan cocks a brow, his mouth twisted in a barely there sort of smile. It’s not the smile he usually offers to Till; more like the one he offers to the general masses, the people he doesn’t give enough of a fuck about to drum anything more pleasant up.
“Right, because that would be so bad,” Ivan says.
After meeting under the mistletoe, Till is forced to confront how he really feels about his best friend.
