You are six when you leave a child to die. All for the sake of the plot.
or,
In which a literature major is stuck in the body of a six-year-old who just so happens to live in a place where survival is demanded from its inhabitants. The cost of living in Meteor City isn’t just physical; it's emotional, moral, and soul-crushing. Wait... you're illiterate now?

Summary
Okay, three things that you do know:
One, you are in Hunter X Hunter, the 2011 remake.
Two, you are in the body of Kalluto Zoldyck at the age of five.
Three, you never watched Hunter X Hunter fully. You’ve skipped through episodes and breathed through the wiki when you had to recall a fact mid-clips—also skipping through the manga and only reading specific scenes.
So, you are so screwed.

Would you trade your life if you could live in Hunter x Hunter?- Came the last question.
Would I? Of course, it was just a game and I didn't take that seriously as I typed my answer. Maybe I should have.Aka: A hunter x hunter fanfiction where ofc traded her life away.
This will be an isekai story where I will follow through the main plot with my character. Don't expect big changes, I just want to relive the story through an Oc's eyes.
We are starting a bit earlier than the hunter exam arc and we go until the 2011 anime ends.
Have fun my dear readers.

Summary
Juno was a soldier- or at least, she had been one. She had also been dead. She should be dead, hell, somedays she’d prefer it that way. Yet here she was on a foreign island, in a body that wasn’t her own, at an age she hadn’t been in literal decades. Her very reality made her feel insane. It was all she could do to build some semblance of familiarity- long days of training, even longer sleepless nights, and keeping the world around her at arm’s length. Then comes along some chubby cheeked kid dressed in too much green who’s decided she’s his new friend whether she likes it or not. Gon’s relentless optimism begins to chip away at her walls, but it’s the arrival of a stranger named Kite that shatters them entirely.
Kite brings with him talk of Hunters, a dangerous yet fascinating world beyond the safety of the island, and a strange power called nen. Juno finds herself tempted by an opportunity: remain in the safe, suffocating quiet, or step into a world where her skills- and her past- might finally have a purpose.
