Summary
Shakespeare, for all of his brilliance, got one thing wrong: no one is ever truly star-crossed. Having helped create most of the stars, Crowley knew this better than anyone. If the stars were the only forces keeping them apart, he would have rearranged them when Aziraphale finally, agonizingly belatedly, realized he was in love. Instead, he ran, and for good reason.
