Summary
Caleb and Essek both work on the same research project in Leylas Kryn’s lab, who Essek betrayed by leaking information to the Cerberus Assembly, consequently breaking Caleb’s trust before they ever met. But that isn’t the important part. No, the important part is that Frumpkin adores Essek and Caleb doesn’t know what to make of it. Especially when Essek starts sleeping over more often after one fateful, whiskey-fueled night.
