Summary:

Kidnapping the Agent Carter crew to watch the entire MCU and fix shit up because honestly it feels like the entire world is super fucked up right now.

Chapter 1: Explanation

Notes:

So, I know that taking a project this big is going to be difficult but I’m going to try my hardest to finish it and not leave it uncompleted. Since it's going to be long I’m not going to be transcribing the movies/tv shows word by word but rather a more general idea of what is happening. Hope you like it and feedback is always welcome!

(See the end of the chapter for more notes.)

Chapter Text

Peggy and Jarvis were on the outside of Stark’s house right after she had agreed to let him drive her to the airport when suddenly everything went dark. When they slowly woke up, they realized that they were not the only ones there and that there happened to be some form of a movie theater. Alongside them were Howard, Daniel, Jack and also Angie all looking sluggish and in equal confusion as they straightened up in the chairs they were seated.

“Ugh” “The hell!” “What happened?” “Where are we?” “Did we get kidnaped?” sounded the overlapping voices.

“Angie what are you doing here?” Peggy asked alarmed, at least it made sense that the rest were here whatever was happening, but Angie was supposed to be all the way in New York.

“English! What is happening?” the waitress asked just as alarmed. “I have no idea” Peggy answered truthfully.

“So…, to put us all on the page” Sousa started, “no one knows where we are or how we got here.” as they all nodded. Jarvis then answered “Yes, that appears to be correct Chief Sousa”.

Stark scoffed, “Perfect just what we needed. And here I thought we could finally relax after taking down that gal with the dark matter.”

“Oh this is great! Tell me Stark who did you piss off now?” Thompson snarled already tired of this situation and just hoping it wouldn’t turn any worse.

“Me?! Why would you assume I am to blame here? Howard asked back irritated.

“It’s always something to do with you” Jack replied in a flat tone.

Peggy sighed, annoyed at their childish behavior, “Stop it!” Howard and Jack stopped bickering. “What is important right now is that there was someone skilled enough to be able to grab us in broad daylight without us even noticing. We need to figure out who took us and to what end.”

“Peggy is right. I was in the middle of the SSR office last I remember, how did they manage to get past all of the other agents.” Daniel told them.

They all looked at each other with equal confusion and then started to look at their surroundings to gather more information. It truly looked like a movie theater but there were no exits or seemingly a way out.

“Don’t worry, you are all safe just relax. I’m not going to harm any of you.” Suddenly a voice came from the ceiling.

“Who's there?!” Peggy asked.

“Who I am is not important, you are all here because I need your help.” The voice from the ceiling continued.

“Wait so you couldn’t have just asked for our help? Did you really have to kidnap us all?” Jack asked exasperated and a bit angry.

“You are where you need to be Chief Thompson.” the voice stated simply.

Peggy tried to gather as much information as possible from their situation. The place they were in was quite different from anywhere she had been yet still recognizable as a cinema. There must have some sort of sound system that the voice was coming from, yet she couldn’t see it and it sounded oddly clear. The voice had a British accent and sounded feminine, it sounded powerful yet young and relaxed.

“Excuse me? If I may miss…?” Jarvis politely asked looking upwards.

“I have no gender, nor do I have any physical form” the voice answered.

That seemed to have a reaction from all of them with either fear or intrigue. What exactly were they in for now and what is this being that had taken them?

“Wait, what?” Howard asked shocked. “How is that possible?”

“Let’s just say that I am not from around here” they replied.

Jack turned towards Sousa and in a hushed tone said “Does that mean that she... hmm whatever is an alien? Like from another planet?” as if to clarify he heard right.

“You can use they and maybe.” the voice told him playfully and Jack looked like a deer caught in headlights. “And yes, I can hear everything.”

“Very well so if you may, could please tell us what you might require our assistance with?” Jarvis finally continued.

“I have brought you all here because I believe that you can make things right.” The voice said, leaving everyone in the room confused.

“Make what right exactly?” Peggy asked raising an eyebrow.

“The future” stated the voice simply.

“And how are we supposed to do that?” Asked Daniel next. “And why us?”

“Believe it or not you are very important for the future and have the power to change things and Angie is here because I like her.” Angie didn’t know how to feel about this comment, but she smiled.

“I’ll be showing you some recording about your past, present and future, with the hope that with this knowledge you can prevent future events from ever happening and stop the fucked up state the world is right now.” the voice told them.

They looked at each other with confusion and dread. What might have happened in the future for it to be so bad that it needs fixing. Peggy was now more intrigued, she understood now that this was something she had to do. As an SSR agent, it was her duty to help the people, and this was for that same purpose. She was going to make sure she could help as much as she could.

“This is going to be a long process so brace yourselves, we have a lot to watch.” Said the voice.

“How long are you going to keep us here? Cause I have other places to be.” Said Sark annoyed. Yes, he wanted to help the world but how long was he going to have to stay here.

“I have also stopped time from moving outside of this room so do not worry about that.” Answered the voice.

“How do we know you are telling the truth?” Asked Jack, this was all looking like a plot from those fictional novels to be true.

“Let me show you the first recording, if you still don’t believe what I’m telling you afterward you are free to leave. I’m not here to hold you against your will.” The voice told all of them.

The lights dimmed in the room and the screen located in front of them lit up.

“Oh and before I forget.” Suddenly in their laps appeared a notebook and a pen. “For you to write in whatever you want. Preferably important information that you think might be of use for you later.”

They were stunned with the sudden appearance of the notebooks out of thin air to say much about it and just stared up to watch whatever it was they were going to see.
