GOLDEN MUSIC AWARDS FESTIVAL (GMAF) 20XX: Rewarding Exceptional Talents of the Era

The 27th Golden Music Awards Festival (Korean: 골든 뮤직 어워드 페스티벌) is an annual South Korean music awards ceremony which is held at the end of the year in South SkyDome Arena, in order to honor the achievements of several talented idols and icons in the music industry. The official date had already been announced by the Board Director of the GMAF during last night’s conference at the Yellia Auditorium which was stated to happen on the 27th of December.
Some of the things to look forward to were the three grand prizes: Album of the Year, Song of the Year and the Popularity Award. A few of the Main prizes will be awarded to artists from the Album and Song categories. The grand prize winners will be chosen from the main prize winners. The winner of the Popularity Award will be determined by the domestic viewers' votes, while the winner of the Interspecial Award was determined by overseas viewers' votes.
Other general categories are highlighted in each award and other categories are divided by genre. Aside from the nomination awards that give results based on the highest votes received by the National Recording Academia, the Golden Music Awards finalists will be based on album sales, streamings, touring, and social media engagements. This is then measured and tracked by Golden Music and their data partners which includes Listen Data, Pop Blog Group, and Crazed n Dazed.
The first certified statement was made by Ms. Adite, the Executive Assistant facilitating the program, on her Twitter account @Aditie_Elf last October 19, 20XX, 8:27 P.M. to be followed by the Board Director @World_Tree and famous Producer and Director, Eruhaben-nim @ancientdragon.

The 27th Golden Music Awards has announced its artist lineup! Songs and albums that were released starting from November 20XX through November 20XX are eligible to be nominated for this year 20XX. For each of the album awards category, only albums with at least five tracks which excludes the intros, outros, and instrumentals are eligible. OSTs and project songs for TV programs are not considered to be nominated. The data regarding the sales, social media engagements, and usage on streaming sites until mid-December will only be reflected in the results.

The nominees will be chosen based on quantitative measures such as sales, streamings, touring and social media engagements. The final winners are chosen 60% based on sales and 40% based on scoring by the judging panel.
The judging panel will consist of the ceremony’s executive committee along with 30 industry specialists including some of the major music distribution representatives, famous music program directors, notable music critics, journalists who specialize in music, and many more. They will be evaluating qualitative measures such as the releases’ musical achievements and influence on society.
Online voting will not take place for any of the main categories of the awards and will only be held for the Popularity and Inter-Special Awards, which will be 100% determined by votes here on the date December 27 at 11:59 p.m.
From December 1st (Wednesday), you can start voting for the Global Star Popularity Award, Golden Group Popularity Award, and Inter-Special Award. Vote for your favorite Idol and post a screenshot on your social media account for verification. The duration of the voting period shall begin from 12 PM on December 1st to 11:59 PM December 27 20XX

SunXMoon, is a two-member South Korean idol group that began its formation in 20XX and debuted the following year. The popular duo, already with its own record label contract by Roan Entertainment, is composed of Alberu Crossman and Cale Henituse, who now co-write and co-produce their own albums. These two renowned individuals both have their own notable solo albums which have garnered multiple accolades locally and internationally.
On January 20, 20XX, Roan Entertainment announced the formation of a new group project featuring Alberu Crossman, alongside Cale Henituse who had passed the auditions during the Pan4Search Season, a famous idol seeking event of Roan Entertainment held every first month of the year. A time came where Alberu's first single, which was supposedly going to be his solo debut in the first month of the year, was put on hold since Roan Entertainment wanted to seek a suitable partner alongside him to be publicized. Luckily, during the Pan4Search Season, Tasha, SunXMoon's manager, saw Cale Henituse during the trial sessions and had seen potential in him during the auditions. It is said that when the both of them met, they apparently got along immediately. Thus came to be the birth of a duo, so amazing, that it had saved the Roan industry from bankruptcy.
The idol duo debuted on April 27, featuring the title song "It's called a Hustle" which sold over a million digital copies and stayed at #1 at Gongman Weekly Charts for three weeks straight. The single accumulated 1.5 million downloads in the country, and its music video accumulated over 200 million views on the video-sharing website MeTube. The group's second Korean studio album, Scam and Deceit, was their second album to sell 1.3 million copies by the end of the year, making it one of the best-selling songs of 20XX in South Korea, which peaked at number two on the Gongman Digital Chart, overseas.
Over the years, SunXMoon has won 34 World Records, which includes the most Twitter engagements and the most viewed video/music video on MeTube in 24 hours with "Golden Plaque''. They have consecutively won Bulletinboard's Top Artist award since 20XX, and are the only South Korean idols to win the Top Duo/Group award at the Bulletinboard's Music Awards. SunXMoon has also placed on the Illusion 100 in 20XX and is the youngest ever recipient to have done so. They are also the first Korean idols to have ever received a Grand Award nomination, and one of the first Korean artists to be nominated for the International Wing Award. Having sold over 50 million albums on the Gongman Music Chart, SunXMoon is the best-selling artist in South Korean history and currently holds the best-selling album in the continent with 'Schemes and Ecstasy: 7'.
After being featured on Illusion's international cover as the "Future Generation Leaders'', SunXMoon has also appeared in the magazine's lists of the 10 most influential people on the internet (20XX–20XX) and the 50 most influential people in the world (20XX), where they were entitled "Dominators of Pop Music". SunXMoon has gained numerous awards for their music. This includes 13 Instar Music Awards, 7 Bulletinboard Music Awards, and 34 Golden Music Awards, and nominations for a Grand Award and an International Wing Award.
Their first Korean compilation album and the finale to their "survive series", What I want most in Life: To Live, was released on November 20XX. It included four new singles: the top 11 hit "Epilogue: Persist Together", the top 10 hit "Prevail" (Korean: 흐르다), the top 6 hit "Don't Sacrifice Yourself", and the top 3 hit "Fated to be here". The album topped Gongman Weekly Chart in the continent for six consecutive weeks and had peaked at number 16 in Bulletin Board's top 100, which is already an amazing feat since they did it only 2 years after their debut.
SunXMoon has gradually gained influence amongst the music industry of the continent in an extremely short amount of time which had the entirety of the people shocked to have seen two remarkable talents surface in the world of music. Fans and viewers nationwide had ultimately given the members of SunxMoon their own description and nickname, with Alberu dubbed as "Our majestic royal highness of the radiant sun, the Crown Prince'' and Cale dubbed as "A Hero that will never be seen by the world again, the Supreme Commander" for the unforgettable roles they played in their famous MV, You have been Scammed, directed by well known Director and Producer Eruhaben-nim.

Alberu Crossman, better known by his stage name Crown Prince, is a South Korean rapper, songwriter, dancer, and record producer. He is the oldest son of Zed Crossman from the Crossman Household, CEO of Crossman Corporation, and one of the board directors of Roan Entertainment. Since he was a child, Alberu got his love for music from his late mother, who loved to play the violin for him during their past time. He then aspired to be a professional singer while he was in elementary school. With his father's support, he began taking piano and violin lessons in early middle school at the School of Arts and Joy as a means of pursuing his career.
Ever since he was still a student, he had actively written award-winning essays and poetry. In school, Alberu scored in the top 1% of the nation in the university entrance examinations for science, math, language, foreign language, and social studies and has an IQ of 150. During his time in high school, Alberu managed to see former ZDragon member Olienne’s MV entitled ‘You ate my Heart’, and decided to become an idol. His father became reluctant with Alberu to pursue music since he was also gifted in academic studies, thus, Alberu had no choice but to temporarily cut off his connections with his father in order to chase his dream of becoming an idol.
Alberu eventually became a trainee for Roan Entertainment, after passing an audition without using his father’s connections, to prove himself that he could become an idol with his own hard work. He had managed to gain an opportunity to sign a record label with the music industry however, it was only if he was willing to debut with a partner. With his solo album put on hold, he agreed to the condition with the industry letting him be in charge of the auditions during the Pan4Search season on January 20XX.
In December 20XX, the Arts Council of the whole continent named him as The Radiant Kind Sun, in recognition of his donation of 200 million won to the National Art and Music Museum for the printing and distribution of various rare art books to schools and libraries in rural and mountainous regions. Alberu had then captured the hearts of not only young fans but also middle-aged viewers after SunXMoon joined the famous hit reality tv show called 'The real you', showcasing the real-life personality of idols, comedians, and celebrities on a 5 day trip on a deserted island called Hais 5.
On 17 September 20XX, it was announced that Alberu would finally make his solo debut that year, following the release of SunXMoon’s first Korean language full-length album. An accompanying music video for the song was directed by Eruhaben and co-produced by Olienne, formerly known as the ZDragon duo, and then uploaded onto SunXMoon’s official MeTube channel simultaneously with the single's release. Fredo, from DarkMana, described Alberu as "one of the region's most impressive rappers and lyricists".

Cale Henituse, with his stage name Supreme Commander (which was shortened to just Commander), is a South Korean singer, songwriter, dancer and actor. He is the main vocalist and the maknae of the duo. He is the oldest son of Deruth Henituse, CEO of Henituse Corporation, known for producing both marble and the continent's best wines. Cale stepped down his position as the heir and passed it to his step-brother Basen Henituse, leader of Infinity4. After graduating high school, Cale chose to live independently in order to focus on his studies for college. He graduated with a bachelor's degree in Business and Managements and was at the top of their batch.
In 20XX, Cale auditioned at Roan Entertainment during the Pan4Search season in January, passing the first round. Even without any experience or any records of being in a music academy, he had such exemplary music skills that caught the eye of Tasha, SunXMoon’s manager, this led him to meet Alberu Crossman who was in charge of the auditions at that time. He became a trainee for Roan Entertainment after being chosen by Alberu, with just a few good months till their public reveal. Cale’s idol training had lasted for two months and as he had progressed, nobody would have expected that such a prodigy would find its way to Roan Entertainment.
Cale is also extremely popular on social media amongst fans. In April 20XX, only a few months after SunXMoon’s debut, a video of him singing inside the studio, with Alberu recording the entire song beside him, became the most retweeted tweet in South Korea that year. Cale’s popularity skyrocketed in a short amount of time and had earned him the nickname of “Trend Setter King” as the things that he is seen wearing and using, immediately became the biggest trend of the nation for months.
Cale was the most-searched male K-pop idol on Uwugle according to their mid-year chart. He topped the chart again in 20XX and was the most searched K-pop idol on MeTube for two straight years. On Tumbled, he was ranked 1st in 'Top K-Pop Icons' for three consecutive years. On Twitter, he had the most retweeted tweet of 20XX and the 2nd most retweeted tweet of 20XX. In March 20XX, Cale had set a new all-time record for the most real-time viewers in Korean-Stream history when his first solo live broadcast surpassed 35 million viewers from both international and local fans.
In 20XX, Cale released his first solo mixtape which he re-released for digital purchase and streaming months after Alberu’s second solo album release. Cale Henituse ranked first on the chart, which means he was the number one most searched keyword for the past 4 years in the continent. In a survey conducted by Giddy Up, Cale was chosen as the 1st most internationally loved idol of 20XX.
Cale Henituse coined the phrase "The Shield will not break" during SunXMoon’s fan meeting on November 8 20XX. Ever since then, the Silver Shield has become a symbol of SunXMoon and its fans, Cosmos.

Meanwhile, inside a white porcelain walled room with a light yellow ambiance radiating the entire floor, two people could be found sitting beside each other on a red velvet and gold accentuated couch. One was on his phone, silently scrolling past through his timeline on Twitter before clicking his tongue in disgust.
The person in question murmured as the frown on his face made it look like he was seeing something horrible, “That damn bastard, why’s he trying to make a religion about me on Twitter now??” The man leaned back on the backrest of the couch, holding back his sigh as he brushed some of his vibrant crimson side bangs away from his eyes. ‘Mmm, my hair’s getting pretty long now, isn’t it about time I cut it?’ As he twirled his red locks which were already medium in length, a cool voice beside him spoke.
"Dongsaeng..." A blond man with his arms in a fold also leaned back to mimic the redhead, his eyes fixated on the expensive-looking chandelier on the ceiling.
"What is it hyung?" The redhead replied, seemingly unbothered by the older man’s calling, his eyes still glued to his phone, ‘Let’s think about the haircut later.’
The blond, whose arms were still in a fold, swiftly changed his position as he placed his left arm on top of the couch’s backrest. With his head now leaning against his shoulders, he lifted his left leg and bent it to a more comfortable position, in a tired voice he asked, "Remind me why I'm here with you at the Hope and Loving Adventure Pub again?"
The blond tapped the edge of the couch that his arm was resting on. His light blue eyes gazed at his hand which was right behind the redhead. In a few seconds, his fingers gently touched his hair that was already medium in length, stroking the strands that had a darker shade than the couch as he was bored from waiting for a few hours. ‘His hair’s getting long, I hope he doesn’t cut it.’ his mind now drifted along into random thoughts.
"I already told you, I'm meeting someone here." The other person answered with a sigh as he maintained his stoic face that was now looking at the blond straight in the eye. He felt a bit ticklish from the other’s touch, wondering when he’d stop stroking his hair.
The blond stopped his movements before raising a brow as he emphasized his sentence, "And why do I have to be here too?"
"Well obviously, 'cause you're my walking ATM, hyung. Who else is gonna pay for our drinks?" The redhead retorted back with a face full of disbelief as if wondering why he was asking such an obvious question.
"You crazy bas— Aren't you the owner?!" The blonde man said in a whisper-shout motion, completely baffled at such remarks.
The other man immediately answered back as he casually said in a smirk, "Yeah and I'm filthy rich too."
Something about his confident smug face made the other person’s eyebrow twitch in annoyance. "Haaa... you're really—" The man then rolled back his light blue eyes as he continued to caress the redhead’s hair as if he had never stopped in the first place. In a stern voice he mentioned to the other who did not mind him playing with his hair, "Just remember that we still have a photoshoot tomorrow at 9:30 am, don't you dare pass out and give me a headache later, okay Cale?"
"You won't. Trust me." Cale said as he gave a reassuring look to the other.
"Ugh fine, I get it. But be sure to be careful."
"Don't worry Alberu, I booked this whole floor for the whole meeting tonight, so you don't have to worry about any paparazzi," Cale said maintaining eye contact with the other person inside the silent room.
Alberu sat up straight, with a serious face he said with genuine concern, "That's not what I mean. Just don't push yourself okay? You're gonna do something big again aren't you?" He tilted his head a bit to the right, eyebrows almost touching each other as he frowned at the person in front of him.
"Perhaps." Cale shrugged his shoulders as he looked over in the direction of the sounds of steps coming from the stairs outside the door, a devious smirk then flashed on his face. "Who knows, you might even thank me soon."
"What?" Alberu asked as he placed his arm back to his side.
Cale faced Alberu with an amused smile, one that Alberu would find suspicious. "And when the time comes, you owe me one, got it?"
Alberu cleared his throat as he tried to understand what he meant. "What are you—" However he was abruptly interrupted when the door suddenly slammed open.
A loud voice was heard from across the room which made Alberu turn his head towards the sound. Cale's reddish-brown eyes were fixated on the well-built figure that walked excitedly to their table.
"Cale Henituse! It's been so long!! It's great to see you again, my other alcoholic friend!!!"
Alberu’s eyes immediately tried to assess who Cale was meeting with. 'Blue hair with the signature ponytail, piercings on the left ear wearing an original Mercenary Guild merch t-shirt and neon blue jacket... No way.' His thoughts stopped midway. He couldn’t believe how Cale could even know such a person right now, so he asked the other to at least answer the question in his mind, "Cale... since when were you acquainted with famous MeTube streamer Bud Illis?"
"Mmm... a few years ago in College." Cale nonchalantly replied as he calmly stood up. He doesn’t seem to be phased by the blue-haired man’s excited demeanor.
"What??" Alberu said in disbelief, he stood up as well following the redhead while still looking at the guest in front of them.
"How have you been!!" Bud exclaimed as he was now a few spaces apart from Cale and Alberu.
"Hey." Cale said with a seemingly bored expression as if he hasn’t seen this man since graduating college.
Bud’s eyes softened at the still same personality he had known, "Geez, you're still so cold to me after all these years? Come here you!" He opened his arms and embraced the redhead who tried to break away from the tight hug but failed to do so.
Meanwhile, as Alberu broke away from his train of thought of how on earth Cale knew Bud Ilis, he snapped from hearing Cale’s voice that grumbled, "Hands off me you idiot, you're squeezing too tight."
Alberu stepped forward too late, however, he voiced out his concern to his dongsaeng who looked like he couldn’t breathe, "Hey now you should let go of him firs—"
Bud’s green eyes looked over to the blond’s direction and immediately let go of Cale, who tried to catch his breath from what seemed to be a hug from a live bear. "Oh you must be Alberu Crossman! It is a pleasure to meet the Crown Prince here." Bud instantly grabbed Alberu’s hand and shook it vigorously as he said in a laid-back tone, "Ahhh If only I had a camera with me, the viewers would have flipped to see me talking to the big shots in the music industry!!"
Cale, after coughing for a few moments, snapped the two people’s handshake apart as he indifferently said, "Well, if you did, you wouldn't have gotten past the security here."
Bud laughed resoundingly as he walked over to the opposite couch from the two, "Heh. I know, I got the message last night. Congratulations on the nominations by the way. I didn't think I'd get to see your face everywhere I go, y'know." He proceeded to sit down with arms on the armrest of the soft couch, nuzzling comfortably to the cushion, "I'd always thought you'd end up making your own MeTube channel and become a streamer since you were so good at it back when you played as Bob."
As Cale and Alberu sat down as well, Bud’s last sentence made Alberu halt for a moment before finally sitting down, asking as he thought he didn’t hear it right the first time, "Wait what now? Could you repeat that? W-who was Bob?"
"Oops— You didn't tell him Cale?" Bud covered his mouth in reflex as if he had said something he wasn’t supposed to.
"Ah. I forgot." Cale said without a care in the world, eyes that seemed to say that he wasn’t sorry for forgetting to mention it to Alberu.
Alberu looked at the redhead who was avoiding eye contact, "Hold on— Why didn't you tell me you were Bob from the Chronicles of Bob series?!"
"I see you watched my old videos, keke now I'm a bit embarrassed..." Bud said in a sheepish tone, hands scratching the back of his neck as he chuckled from feeling shy.
'Haaaa... this guy is driving me crazy!' Alberu thought as his sharp eyes looked immensely at the redhead who looked at some random object.
Bud then explained to Alberu who looked like he was going to bore holes from staring at Cale. He coughed before speaking, "Well basically the true identity of Bob, the skilled gamer who always wore a black mask and hoodie was Cale Henituse, right there." He pointed both his hands at the redhead, who casually leaned back.
"That was a long time ago, give it a rest already Bud." Cale said as he frowned from Bud’s strange remarks about how he used to be.
Alberu exclaimed, rambling what he knew about Bob one after another, "I can't believe you were Bob all along. Everybody on MeTube has been talking about you. A lot of people used to pretend they were you! There was even a trend amongst streamers on wearing all black outfits!"
This made Cale look at him from the side, raise a brow, and flashed a cheeky grin at him. "Very knowledgeable now are we?"
Bud was also amazed at the thought as well, "Ho. I didn't think Alberu Crossman would know a lot about it since we were just a small stream account before."
Alberu cleared his throat, pretending to cough and instantly reverted back to his calm expression. He then tried to come up with some excuse, "It... It just came up to my feed a few times, that's all." However the other people in the room thought otherwise.
At that moment Alberu and Cale made eye contact, to what seems to be them having a telepathic conversation through the eyes.
'Pfft, what lies.'
'I'll talk to you later.'
Bud, who wasn’t aware of any of this happening, leaned forward and happily spoke as he thought of a great idea all of a sudden, "Hehe speaking about the Chronicles of Bob, why don't you make a comeback? A lot of the viewers have been asking where the hell is Bob the Legendary Master ProGamer! Don't worry you can just hide your identity like last time!"
Cale broke eye contact with the blond and then turned to Bud as he responded, "Actually, the reason why I called you here is something related to that."
Both Alberu and Bud were confused but continued to listen to the redhead’s next lines.
Cale crossed his legs as he leaned his head on his hand that was resting on the armrest, his eyes became sharp as he looked at Bud’s eyes which had a distinctly green hue, "Why do you think I asked you to come all this way to my pub, Bud?"
Bud after a few seconds of thinking realized his intention which made his aura change from the aloof guy from a while ago to that of a serious person, "You wanna make a bet with me aren't you?"
"That's right." Cale smirked, impressed that his old friend understood without a need for an explanation.
"I see you're still the same even after you've become a famous idol." Bud said, amused at the person in front of him, "Now I'm curious, what's the bet going to be?"
‘Cale what are you playing at right now.’ Alberu, who had no way of understanding Cale’s thought process, just stayed silent, observing from the side.
"If I win, you're gonna have to endorse SunXMoon's New Album, we're going to give you sponsored merch of course. But you're going to have to mention us at the end of your future videos." Cale casually said what he wanted.
Bud gasped, his mouth agape in interest, he leaned back as well before asking another question, "Why does it have to be me?"
Cale answered back in an instant as if it was obvious already, "Where else can I find a friend who has over 1 billion followers on MeTube?"
The blue-haired man chuckled at the fact that Cale pointed out, "Ha! That's true, I am pretty amazing. What do I get if I win though?" He curiously asked the other end of the bet.
Cale spoke, "I'll make a comeback as Bob just like you wanted..."
"Ho. Are you su—" Bud wanted to say something but apparently the redhead wasn’t finished with his statement yet.
"I'll also tell them that Bob’s real identity is actually Cale Henituse from SunXMoon. Imagine the views blowing up because of that, wouldn't that go viral?" Cale smirked, with confidence.
"Hey Cale, wait a minute!" Alberu flinched at his sentence, he wanted to stop whatever he had in mind but Bud was quick to respond.
"Deal!" Bud shouted and laughed before he continued, "You better not back out on this one Cale! It's roughly been about 6 years since we had a drinking bet but the outcome will definitely be different this time for sure!"
Alberu could only look at the unbelievable scene right now, however, he just sighed and decided to just trust Cale on this one. A few moments later, numerous bottles of alcohol could be seen lying around the table, with Cale’s side having more of them compared to the other’s. The stench of the alcohol was so strong that it had also made Alberu feel a bit dizzy, however, he kept a straight head, still checking if Cale was feeling alright. But as he observed the redhead’s eyes, there was no need for him to be worried because even after the large amounts of alcohol intake, he knew that Cale was still sober.
The young blond then heard a groan coming from the other side of the couch. He could see Bud almost pass out and is on the verge of vomiting. His flushed red face landed on the surface of the marble table, his glass now empty from being spilled on the table.
“Fuck...ugh… I can’t drink anymore” Bud continued to groan, holding his mouth that was gagging from being so full. The more he spoke the more he wanted to throw up, “I surrender fuck… ”
Cale, who already knew the outcome of the bet, gave a cheeky smirk with his brown eyes meeting green ones, “I guess it’s my win this time too?” he sarcastically said.
“Haaa…urk—” Bud just sighed but ended up covering his mouth again before he vomits on the carpet floor, 'Damn I've been had! Again!!'
They suddenly heard a ringtone go off. They could both tell whose phone was ringing. It was coming from Cale’s direction. The both of them saw him take his phone out from his pocket.
"Sorry I have to take this call." Cale said, attempting to stand up.
Alberu quickly approached the redhead before asking gently, speaking right beside him, "Do you need help standing up?"
"No need, It'll just be over in a minute."
‘Ugh I can't believe I lost again.... he sure can hold his liquor after so many years... I feel like I've been scammed for some reason. No... he definitely scammed me, this bastard... heh’ Bud internally thought before he stealthily peaked up to see a concerned Alberu trying to mother Cale whose face was red. He could notice the worry in Alberu’s voice as he slightly smiled, ‘Ah, these two must be— Oh ho~’
As Alberu’s eyes strayed off to where Cale was going, he then spoke in a low voice once he saw the door closed shut, he turned to the other person left inside the room, "Hey, I wanna know something."
"Mmm? What is it?" Bud’s ears perked up from the sudden strike of a conversation of the blond.
"Why didn't you make a video revealing that Bob was actually Cale Henituse the idol from SunXMoon before? I don't get it. You could've had more viewers just by knowing him." Alberu felt confused, clearly, he wanted answers.
As Bud felt a bit better after digesting the alcohol he drank, he tried to properly sit straight in order to meet the other eye to eye, he chuckled, "Heh, I can't do that to my old pal, it wouldn't sit right with me to just reveal his identity when I didn't ask for permission.” He then darted off to the ceiling, as if he was trying to reminisce about something nostalgic, “But knowing Cale, he wouldn't want the unnecessary attention. Heck, I'm even surprised that a guy like him who likes being lowkey became the country's top idol."
Alberu gave a fond smile at the other who also smiled back. "You're a good friend, Bud. Thanks for that."
Bud then awkwardly gave a cough, "Besides, your fans would've canceled me for using Cale Henituse as clout. Which would've given me a huge backlash."
"That is...true." Alberu agreed as well, also awkwardly giving out a chuckle.
Bud took a short glance at his watch before scrunching his forehead, "Ugh it's getting late, I hope he's not worried."
Alberu, who heard him mumbling, subconsciously asked, "Who..?"
"Oh, I have someone at home waiting for me. So you don't need to mind how close me and Cale are. I can keep a secret or two Alberu, since we're practically friends now as well! HAHAHA!!" Bud gave a thunderous laugh, not noticing the red blush on Alberu’s cheeks.
"Wait! I think you're misunderstanding something he—" Alberu tried to say something first but was immediately interrupted.
“It’s fine. It’s fine.” Bud reassured him, letting a fond sigh out of his breath. “It’s quite obvious if you ask me heh.”
Cale, who somehow managed to be inside without the two noticing, spoke to Alberu before stopping his sentence midway, "Hyung, Tasha texted me and needs us back at the... Why's your face flushed? Did you drink while I was gone?"
"Heh it's nothing.” Bud waved his hand, dismissing their conversation as he continued, “By the way I gotta go Cale, Glenn's probably worried sick."
Cale pauses for a while before speaking his mind without any filter, "Mmm, if Glenn's still the same person I know, he'd probably say he's glad he could finally take a breather."
"Hey! That's rude! I know that he cares for me more than that." Bud snorted at the absurd statement before pouting at the redhead.
"Me and Alberu are gonna be leaving first, the car is waiting.” Cale said as he grabbed Alberu by the arm and slowly grabbed him towards the door. He then peeked from Alberu’s shoulder to mention something to Bud, “I'll send you the details later since you lost again. Wow, that makes it twice now."
This made Bud scoff in amazement, "Wow, you really love rubbing salt in my wound, don't you?"
"Maybe" he paused as he observed the drunk blue-haired man who looked completely smashed. Cale knew that he wasn’t though, he then sighed before speaking again, "I texted Glenn already so stay put, he said he's coming to fetch you."
Bud then said with a fond sigh as he shook his head in disbelief, "Geez, I really can't win against you.” He then eyed Alberu and in a whisper, he mouthed, “You're one lucky guy, Alberu." that only the blond could understand.
Cale who didn’t catch what Bud said, lifted his head to look at Alberu whose face was still flushed, “What was that about?”
“I-It’s nothing, let’s go already.” Alberu said, brushing off the question he didn’t want to answer. Alberu, who had remembered the entire conversation he had with Bud, could only provide many reasons why he did not want to get close to Cale’s alcoholic friend.
As the both of them headed downstairs, Cale quietly nodded towards the employees who greeted back and then minded their own business. Alberu went ahead and got hold of Cale’s autumn wool trench coat. Cale walked towards the blond and took his brown coat from him, wearing them as swiftly as possible as they still had somewhere they needed to be.
Alberu then took the cream striped knitted scarf from the rack just by the entryway. He then covered Cale around it as he saw him sniffle twice, scrunching his nose. It was already evening, and the autumn wind during the night was rather chilly. Alberu made sure to keep him warm so he wouldn't catch a cold.
Cale just stared at the other who looked so serious as he was warmly wrapped with the scarf Alberu gave him for his birthday. He gently whispered which only reached the ears of Alberu, “Thanks mom” before chuckling.
Alberu sighed as he gazed at his brown eyes that were glinting a warm amber color from the light above them. “Shut up.”
Cale, whose smirk was hidden from the scarf muttered, "You owe me one now hyung."
"You're really driving me crazy..." Alberu could only sigh again in response.

Inside a black, sleek vehicle, two individuals sitting side by side were pleasantly scrolling through their cell phones. The older man of the two casually leaned his head towards the person beside him. His radiant blond hair ruffled against the shoulders of the seemingly unbothered individual, trying to find a comfortable position to rest his head on.
The red haired man reached for his iced coffee drink that was inside the cup holder and took a long sip, the other hand still on his phone. Alberu, who took a peek at the drink that the other was drinking, silently stared at it. Cale noticed this and turned his head to meet his eyes.
Cale placed his cold drink near Alberu, with the green straw almost touching his lips. Alberu was reluctant to take a sip at first, before giving in after a few seconds. With a satisfied face he took a huge slurp of the drink before humming in delight. The blond man then heard the other speak.
“I told you we should’ve bought two of these.” Cale grumbled before sighing.
Alberu then gave a cheeky smile with the straw still on his mouth, “You know I can’t finish the whole drink already dongsaeng.”
“You do realize you always try to drink mine right?” The other said in response before taking back the drink and having a small sip.
“We’d be able to save if we just share drinks dongsaeng.” Alberu chuckled before turning his phone on again, swiping his password to unlock.
“Yeah, like you’re not rich enough already, sure hyung.” Cale sarcastically said as he took a sip at the already half empty cup, only huge chunks of ice left inside. As he jiggled the transparent cup he noticed a notification on his phone, “Hyung, Tasha texted me that she’s almost down at the parking area.”
“It’s about time, what’s taking her so long?” Alberu mumbled before placing his leg on top of the other, “Hey, dongsaeng.” He grinned before going through his album in his gallery.
Cale, who wasn’t paying that much attention, only hummed in a low voice as a response. A phone screen was suddenly in front of his eyes as Alberu shoved it in his eyes to see. There he saw his photo wearing a black oversized hoodie and glasses.
Alberu sat up straight as he playfully gave a grin, “I didn’t think you’d be so adorable when you were in College, dongsaeng.”
Cale, who tried to reach out to grab the phone, wasn’t able to nab it as Alberu instantly moved his hand higher, “Gimme that. How’d you even get that photo?” The redhead said, annoyed, which pleased the other person.
Alberu shook the phone in his hands as Cale tried to reach for it again, “Didn’t you know this photo has been trending in twitter ever since Bud posted his recent video from a week ago??”
“What?” Cale asked confusedly before moving away from Alberu who only chuckled. He immediately went through his phone to see what was happening. He sighed, “I only told him to endorse our album, that didn’t include our college album! Haaaaaa…”
Alberu chuckled again as he leaned closer near his shoulders to see what he was looking at. “I wonder if you got what you wanted after the bet dongsaeng.”
“Ugh just shut up.” Cale frowned before hearing the van opening in the driver’s seat.
“Hey guys, sorry for the wait. I had to talk with the magazine editor for RiverMade Weekly, I’ve booked you two for a photoshoot next week.” A woman wearing a grey buttoned suit stepped inside and closed the car door. As she swiftly tied her dark obsidian hair into a ponytail she said, “By the way, Sherrit-nim called. She told me that the kid’s has the same photoshoot schedule as the both of you.
Alberu, who took Cale’s seat belt to buckle him in, asked the woman who turned the car on and stepped on the pedal, "Speaking of Sherritt-nim, do we need to pick up Raon on the way?" He buckled his seatbelt as well before checking his notifications again.
“We’re not going to pick Raon this time cuz I think his Mom’s going to be on the set to observe, so they’ll be going together.” Tasha, their manager said as she moved the wheel to the right to make a turn, "Did the both of you already memorize your lines?"
Alberu, whose eyes were fixated on his phone, said without bothering to lift his head up, "Yeah, you don't really need to worry about that y'know, Aunt Tasha."
”Ahh right” Tasha muttered before she thought, ‘We have one guy with an insane IQ and another guy that could memorize an entire page just by looking at it once.’
Cale placed the now-empty plastic cup in the cup holder before leaning to Alberu's side and closed his eyes. Tasha, who saw this in the rearview mirror let out a fond sigh before stepping up the pace of the van.
'I hope there won't be any trouble on the set today, my boys look so exhausted from working so hard for the past few weeks. I should find some time to clear their schedule this weekend.' Tasha firmed her resolve internally as she continued driving towards their destination.
