Around Town

Summary:

It's summer. Classes are out and students are having to find ways to make extra money for next semester. Applying for a babysitting job to take care of two kids for a few weeks should be easy enough for Izuku to handle, right? Even the grumpy, blonde and foul-mouthed pizza delivery boy can't make this a completely terrible experience.

So why do the kids seem dead-set on making Izuku suffer every time they order pizza?

Where Katsuma's failed attempts to convince Mahoro not to mess with a pining delivery boy and an easily embarrassed, also pining, babysitter takes a turn for the worst. Not to mention how Katsuki and Izuku eventually have to run around town looking for the kids who are a little too good at hide and seek, but that comes later.

Notes:

editing this fic while working on another one. I promise it's not dead! anyway, thank you for reading!

Work Text:

It wasn't that hot that evening. Izuku was out of college for the summer, along with almost every other student. He stretched his legs out on the couch he was sitting on, keeping his eyes glued to his phone. He'd been looking for quick jobs that would pay well and that he could finish before the next school started. He couldn't believe it, he was going to be in his second year of school already! Not a second goes by that he isn't grateful for the opportunity he's been given to continue studying what he loves, but if he wants to keep studying it would be smart to have extra money for what his tuition won't pay. So that brings him to now. His eyes burning from staring into a tiny, bright screen and hoping for the best.
