Sunset Curve being a bunch of chaotic queers

Work Text:

Bobby walks past the garage while the other boys are sitting on the couch inside watching the Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone and talking. He really hopes they don’t notice him, he’s been crying, something he rarely does, so the boys will know in seconds that something awful happened.

“AY BOBBY!!” That was Luke
“OOOH Bobby’s back!!!” He hears Reggie say excitedly, “BOBBY!!! Tell Luke that Prisoner Of Azkaban is the best movie!!!”
“NO IT ISN’T!!!! Bobbyyyy it’s Goblet Of Fire right?!” Luke asks.
“You’re both wrong.” Aaaand there he is, Alex, “The best Harry Potter movie, it’s Half Blood Prince. I will not accept alternatives.”

Bobby flops onto the couch next to Reggie and leans into him, Reggie starts playing with his hair, “Reggie’s right. It’s Prisoner Of Azkaban. Hands down.”
“HA!! TOLD YOU!!”
Luke makes eye contact with Bobby, “traitor”

They all laugh and resume the movie. They are all asleep within 15mins.

The next day Bobby walks into the garage, a box of PopTarts in hand, he gives a pack to Alex, and places a pack on the table beside the couch for Luke to eat when he wakes up.

Then he heads up to the loft, where Reggie is sitting on the floor, between two beanbag chairs, his back against one, and his legs draped over the other, writing in a notebook.

Bobby sits on the beanbag that Reggie is leaning on, and tapped on his shoulder, Reggie looked up and opened his mouth, Bobby laughed and gave him the PopTart.
Once he finished chewing he looked at Bobby and said “hey man :)” Bobby laughed again, “whatcha writing?” He said, gesturing to Reggies notebook.
“Oh, a song.”
“Can I see?”
“NO! I uh… it’s not ready.” Reggie said quickly, closing the book.
Bobby just looked confused “Oooooookay then….”

Reggie looked up at him again, “soooooo, how was your date? You looked a little upset last night but I didn’t want to bring it up in front of the others because if you had wanted to talk about it you would have said something and I wasn’t gonna say anything at all because I didn’t want to upset you if it was really bad but you looked really upset so I got a little concerned-“ Reggie’s rambling was cut off by Bobby putting a hand on his shoulder.
“Reg. Calm down. It’s not that bad. Liz broke up with me, that’s all.” Bobby said calmly.

Reggie was up and hugging him in seconds “Oh poor Bobby. How about I make us some cookies and we watch movies all weekend?”
“Reg! I’m okay! Really! Buuuuut I’ll never say no to your cookies and a movie weekend….”
“YAY!!! Come on! You’re gonna help me!” Reggie said happily, grabbing Bobby’s hand and dragging him into the house.

“HEY!! WHERE ARE YOU GOINGGGG” Alex shouts after them.

“TO MAKE COOKIES!!!!” Reggie shouts back.

Alex smiles, “WAIT FOR MEEEEE” he runs out of the garage just as Luke wakes up.

“HEy! Where are you going?!” He calls.

“COOKIES”

Luke is fully awake now, ‘WAIT FOR ME!!!!!”

Once all of them are inside, they start to bake.

By the time the cookies are in, everyone and everything is covered in flour, Alex and Bobby are on the floor, Bobby is complaining about breathing flour, Luke is sitting on the table, and Reggie is sitting on the counter laughing.

While the cookies bake, they collect chips, candy, drinks, blankets, and pillows, and get set up for the movie weekend.

Once everyone is settled on the bed, they decide to watch every single movie in the MCU….and argue about which movies are best.

This ends with Reggie winning the argument because Bobby agreed with him that Avengers: Age Of Ultron and Thor: Ragnarok are the best, and Luke sulking.
