Chapter Text
It began to snow a few days ago and by now the snow was painting the town in a light white. Since it started to snow the feeling of winter and Christmas has manifested. The town is bustling with all the people outside. Either to buy presents for their loved ones or to marvel at the first snow that winter. Children could be heard squealing in joy when they saw the snow and begging their parents to let them play in the snow.
Amongst all these people was a young couple wandering through the town. It took Minho over an hour and a promise of hot coca and cheesecake to get Jisung out of their shared apartment for a walk around the town. They had been busy the last weeks because of college, with tests and assignments. Especially Jisung, who has crammed 2 assignments and had to finish both in a few days. The stress and lack of sleep, because of the many all-nighters they pulled, took a lot out of them. Sometimes he even had to force Jisung to come to bed and sleep.
So Minho thought they deserved a good and relaxing beginning into the Christmas holidays. Right now they wandered through the streets and glanced through a few windows into the shops.
“Have you thought about what you going to get for our friends?”, asks Jisung while he looked into a music shop. “I am thinking about buying Channie Hyung new Headphones but I am not sure.”, he continued.
“I am sure he would love new headphones but you know that Chan Hyung is also happy with just seeing us and everyone back together.”
“I know.”
Jisung had a soft smile on his lips when he thought about their eldest friend while his gaze swept over the music equipment inside of the shop a last time.
Minho kept his eyes on Jisung and admired the view he had on his boyfriend and unconsciously a smile began to form on his lips. Jisung turned around to face his boyfriend to find him smiling at him. “What?” he asks a little confused on why Minho looked at him.
“Nothing. You are just cute.” Answered him Minho and took his hand again. Jisung noticed how his cheeks began to grow warmer at the simple compliment.
“Ah bbb..but….I..wa…was..just looking into the store.” Mumbled Jisung a little embarrassed.
“Ah let’s go. You promised me Hot Coca an a cheesecake.”
With these words Jisung started to walk again and drag Minho with him, who just giggled and caught up quickly. With that they wandered around again until they reached their favorite café. It was a small and cozy café. The interior was held in brown and beige tones with a few plants and flowers creating a homie feeling. They choose their usual seat by the windows but not after greeting the barista. The café were decorated with fairy lights, snowflakes and candles and in the background were playing a soft melody of a Christmas song.
After ordering they fall into a pleasant silence with their hands intertwined. Jisung looked down on their hands and smiled. A little squeeze of Minho’s hand brought Jisung out of his thoughts and he looked up again into the smiling face of his boyfriend. Minho looked completely gorgeous with how the shine of the fairy lights illuminated his face and brought out his features. Sometimes he wondered how he got so lucky with Minho but then with the little gestures Minho did. He was reminded why because they loved each other so dearly.
“I love you.”
“I love you, too.”
